Adoption story (short): Baby Tupac was adopted from the Galveston Island Humane Society. I had just started volunteering when I was getting ready to leave for the day and as I walked by the cat room. There was this black arm sticking out of a cage. I went to look and it was an all black cat; all he wanted was attention…I fell in love immediately. I brought my husband to look at him and he told me I could bring him home. That next week I brought him home in a card board kennel that my husband still refers to as a “Chicken Box”. After coming home, he had severe balance problems. My husband and I figured it was due to being in a cage for so long and not being able to challenge his vestibular system. Within a month, his balance improved and now he “slinks” around the house like a black panther!
