Adoption story (short): Scarlet was adopted from Wayside Waifs Humane Society in Kansas City. I was a volunteer there at the time and worked mostly with the cats. I would take her out of her cage to let her walk around and play. She instead would follow me around crying and stretching up on my leg wanting attention. To this day she still cries for my attention and wants to be in my lap at all times. If I am standing and not paying attention to her, she will jump into my arms and nestle in on my shoulder. She is the neediest cat I have ever had but I would not have it any other way.
