Adoption story (short): Ozzy was adopted from the Lawrence Humane Society. I was looking for a companion for my other cat. He won me over right away. The minute anyone would touch him he would begin to purr. If he didn’t get what he wanted he would nip at you and chirp but it sounded like a small dog bark. Hence the name “Puppy Cat.” He had this amazing ability to tell time; he knew he was fed at 6 and 6. If you were late he would come in and wake you. He would start by purring. If he had no luck with this he would attack your feet. As a last resort, he would start knocking items off the night stand. He knew if he knocked around my glasses I would get out of bed to feed him. I guess he trained me. He was a great cat and I had 8 great years with him before he lost his battle with heart disease. I still love and miss “Puppy Cat” and think of him often.
